COURSE OVERVIEW

PRINCE2 Agile® workshop examines how PRINCE2® and agile methods can interact and be adapted to accommodate each other in order to benefit the overall management of projects. It will help experienced PRINCE2® practitioners tailor management controls for agile development.

PRINCE2 Agile® aims to address the needs of forward thinking organisations and individuals already benefiting from PRINCE2®. It provides further guidance on how to apply agile methods to the world’s most recognised project management method.

The workshop examines how PRINCE2® and agile methods can interact and be adapted to accommodate each other in order to benefit the overall management of projects. It will help experienced PRINCE2® practitioners tailor management controls for agile development.

PRINCE2 Agile® is very much an extension unit for those with a good understanding of PRINCE2®. The minimum and recommended pre-requisite is PRINCE2® (2009) Foundation accreditation.

All workshops may be conducted onsite or at our premises, with experienced facilitators providing group and/or individual instruction. Training is provided through hands-on learning, relevant exercises and the provision of a participant handbook. Our participants receive email support throughout the study process and are also entitled to complementary telephone consultation/advice within 60 days of workshop completion.

The PRINCE2 Agile® exam is a 2.5 hour, 60 question multiple choice, Objective Test Exam. The pass mark is 30 out of 60 (50%). The examination addresses knowledge of the terminology of the method and a high level understanding of the concepts. The APM Group International administers the PRINCE2 Agile® examination scheme.

Professional Development Units

PM-Partners group is a Global PMI® (Project Management Institute) Registered Education Provider.

Participants who have been awarded the Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)® by the Project Management Institute are eligible to earn 21 PDU’s for participation in this workshop (5 Technical, 8 Strategic and Business Management and 8 Leadership) .

PRINCE2 Agile® is very much an extension unit for those with a good understanding of PRINCE2®.

The minimum and recommended pre-requisite is PRINCE2® (2009) Foundation accreditation.
