AgilePM Foundation


AgilePM® is a flexible and interactive project management methodology that will fast track results for your business. AgilePM® aims to address the needs of those working in a project driven environment who want to be Agile.

This workshop has been designed to deliver insights, practices, and a greater understanding of implementing agile methods into the project environment. Based on the DSDM® Agile Project Framework, this course outlines the foundations, roles and basic tools required for agile adaption.

This workshop prepares candidates for the APMG AgilePM® Foundation certification exam, which is held on the afternoon of day 3 of the workshop.

This workshop is about providing an understanding of:

  • How to lay the foundations for successful Agile projects
  • How an agile project is managed
  • The different management styles needed for successful Agile projects (compared to “traditional” projects)
  • How Agile can be used in conjunction with PRINCE2®
  • What the requirements are for successfully undertaking the Agile Foundation exam.


This workshop also includes review, consolidation of concepts and exam questions for the Foundation level certification.

  • Invigilator marking and results awarded.

All workshops may be conducted onsite or at our premises, with experienced facilitators providing group and/or individual instruction. Training is provided through hands-on learning, relevant exercises and the provision of a participant handbook.

The AgilePM® Foundation exam is a 40 minute, 50 question closed book multiple choice paper.  The pass mark is 25 out of 50 (50%).  The Foundation examination addresses knowledge of the terminology associated with the method and a high level understanding of the concepts. The APM Group administers the AgilePM® examination scheme.

Professional Development Units

PM-Partners group is a Global PMI® (Project Management Institute) Registered Education Provider.

Participants who have been awarded the Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)® by the Project Management Institute are eligible to earn 21 PDU’s for participation in the Foundation workshop (16 Technical, 2 Strategic and Business Management and 3 Leadership) and are eligible to earn 7 PDU’s for participation in the Practitioner workshop (5 Technical, 1 Strategic and Business Management and 1 Leadership).

There are no pre-requisites for the Agile Project Management Foundation course
